our_quarter. Nothing is meant to be implied about the real Rob Lowe. Nothing portrayed in this journal is true or actually took place. It is all fiction.
Rob was born to Charles Lowe and Barbara Hepler in Charlottesville, Virginia and lived there with them and his brother, Chad, until he was sixteen. Fed up with the modeling his parents insist he do from the time he was a young child, Rob ran away and made his way to New Orleans. His real love was music, and he plays the sax with a great deal of skill. However, good musicians exist all over New Orleans and without even a high school diploma, Rob found himself working at a gas station and when times got tough, using his body to get a little extra money or favors. However, one bit of luck has come his way, and a new mechanic at the gas station/garage is teaching him about car engines, so he can be of more use and hopefully, get a promotion someday, if his music does not work out.
He lives in a tiny garret in the French Quarter near his work and plays in the surrounding cafes whenever he gets the chance. He's easy to approach, friendly with everyone, but rather irresponsible, especially with woman and money. He is currently eighteen years old and has not contacted his family for over two years. Despite his force of personality and drive, he is lonely and wishes for someone to really be close to, missing his brother, especially. The events of the Hurricane brought this lonliness to the fore, so he is vulnerable right now.
